Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is beneficial
- Food Handling Certification is mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding duties
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is an asset
- Experience in cash management preferred
- Barista experience preferred but not mandatory
- Basic math skills and counting techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to understand written English, communicate effectively, and follow culinary instructions
- Food Handling Certification required
- Adherence to dress code policies
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing
Job Duties
- Expertly handle cash and credit card transactions through register and POS system
- Provide warm welcome and support to customers, anticipating their needs
- Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty drinks in accordance with brand standards
- Cook and serve dishes as per company guidelines
- Balance and manage cash drawer, document transactions, and perform deposit procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee bar and work areas
- Follow health and safety protocols during food and beverage preparation
