Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or food preparation preferred
- Ability to manage cash register and POS systems
- Food Handling Certification must be obtained
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic math skills
- Capability to work on feet for extended periods
- Physical ability to perform lifting and bending
- Willingness to follow PPE guidelines
- Commitment to professionalism and dress code adherence
Job Qualifications
- Customer service skills are an asset
- Previous cash handling experience encouraged
- Barista experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Adequate skills in basic mathematics and counting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluency in English reading, communication, and recipe comprehension
- Food Handling Certification required
- Adherence to assigned dress code
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing
Job Duties
- Manage a register/POS system to process payments efficiently and accurately
- Extend greetings and aid to customers, predicting their needs
- Execute brand criteria when making and providing coffee, tea, and distinctive drinks
- Prepare and present food items following location standards
- Keep cash drawer in order and process bank deposits
- Uphold cash handling policies and procedures
- Organize and clean coffee bar, designated areas, or retail facility
- Maintain workplace cleanliness by sanitizing equipment regularly
- Stock beverage coolers, ready-to-eat items, utensils, and sauces
- Comply with health and safety measures in food and beverage preparation
- Perform supplementary tasks as required
