Job Requirements
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables
- Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording
- Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructions
- Visual acuity including clarity of vision at distances less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet with color vision and depth perception
- Ability to read box descriptions and shelf tags to order and place merchandise properly
- Ability to work varying shift lengths and times including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work in cold storage environments ranging between 28 and -20 degrees Fahrenheit
- No restrictions on handling sharp knives and exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment hazards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or grocery supervisory experience a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to train and mentor associates
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and counting
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
