Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
no prior related work experience required
no supervisory experience required
no licenses or certifications required
ability to move, lift and manipulate objects weighing up to 25 pounds
ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
ability to read and visually verify information
ability to perform fine motor tasks requiring hand-eye coordination
ability to navigate confined spaces and use stairs
willingness to follow company safety policies and protocols
ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
proficiency in using MICROS point-of-sale system preferred
effective communication skills in both English and Spanish are a plus
ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
teamwork and interpersonal skills
ability to follow safety protocols and company policies
basic cash handling experience
customer service orientation

Job Duties

Perform opening and closing duties such as organizing provisions and necessary instruments
clean all equipment and areas
lock doors
organize, stock and maintain work areas
enter orders in the cashier system and obtain payments from customers
take orders, enter them into the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
ensure appliances like coffee makers are turned on and off at appropriate times
clean tables and coffee cart areas
keep dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment clean throughout the day
obtain necessary change for expected transaction levels
compute cash at the end of the shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, issue receipts and secure the cash register
comply with all company safety policies and procedures
report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
complete safety training and certifications
maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
protect company property and maintain information confidentiality
support and treat coworkers with dignity and respect
assist the team to reach common goals
comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
move, lift, transport, push, drag and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds unassisted
stand, sit or walk for extended periods
read and verify information visually
inspect tools, equipment or machinery for defects
grasp, turn and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
reach above head and below knees including bending and twisting
navigate narrow, confined or elevated spaces
ascend and descend staircases and service ramps
greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
communicate clearly and professionally
answer telephone calls with proper etiquette
perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
