Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Perform opening and closing duties such as organizing provisions and necessary instruments
  • clean all equipment and areas
  • lock doors
  • organize, stock and maintain work areas
  • enter orders in the cashier system and obtain payments from customers
  • take orders, enter them into the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
  • ensure appliances like coffee makers are turned on and off at appropriate times
  • clean tables and coffee cart areas
  • keep dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment clean throughout the day
  • obtain necessary change for expected transaction levels
  • compute cash at the end of the shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, issue receipts and secure the cash register
  • comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • protect company property and maintain information confidentiality
  • support and treat coworkers with dignity and respect
  • assist the team to reach common goals
  • comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
  • move, lift, transport, push, drag and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds unassisted
  • stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • read and verify information visually
  • inspect tools, equipment or machinery for defects
  • grasp, turn and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
  • reach above head and below knees including bending and twisting
