The Cocktail Support Staff position at Dave & Buster's plays a crucial support role within the bar team, enabling bartenders to focus on crafting outstanding beverages and engaging with guests. This role involves maintaining efficiency and order within the bar area. The Cocktail Support Staff assists in replenishing stock, preparing garnishes, managing ice supplies, and ensuring the bar remains clean and organized. They serve as key team players who anticipate the needs of bartenders during peak periods, helping reduce guest wait times and enhancing the overall guest experience. With responsibilities including reporting stock levels, cleanliness, and equipment issues, team members uphold the high standard of service set by Dave & Buster's. Job Requirements

Be approachable and able to maintain a courteous and friendly attitude even during busy periods
Be available to work various shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends, as required
Flourish in a lively, fast-paced setting with a moderate to high level of background noise
Be able to understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
Be able to lift and carry items such as beverage cases, ice containers, and bus tubs, weighing up to 30 pounds
Move efficiently within the bar area and remain standing for extended periods of time
Be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their work shift
Frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar
Must meet the minimum legal age requirements for serving or handling alcoholic beverages according to local regulations

Job Duties

Contributes significantly to providing excellent drink service that complements our food and entertainment, enhancing the overall fun and excitement for our Guests
Keeps the Bartender and immediate supervisor promptly informed of any low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions, taking immediate action or suggesting resolutions
Provides timely support by efficiently replenishing bar essentials, preparing drink garnishes, and ensuring ice supplies are adequate, helping to minimize Guest wait times
Maintains a positive and helpful demeanor while supporting the Bartenders and proactively anticipating their needs during peak service periods
Aids with Guest inquiries by communicating information to the Bartender and ensuring the bar environment is clean and well-organized for a positive Guest interaction
Supports the Bartender by quickly and efficiently retrieving necessary ingredients, glassware, and other required items
Ensures that used glassware is promptly collected and the bar area remains neat and organized throughout service
