Job Requirements
- Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years experience serving in up-scale dining and nightlife venue
- working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations and safe, responsible alcohol service
- ability to handle multiple tables efficiently with upbeat and friendly attitude
- high school diploma or equivalent
- flexible schedule
- ability to adhere to dress and appearance guidelines
- working knowledge of cocktail tray service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and point of sales systems
- ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner
- 2 years bottle service experience
- 3 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environment
- tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
Job Qualifications
- State or County Licensee or Certification where applicable
- interest in wines, spirits, and mixology
- experience with point of sales systems preferred
- cash handling experience preferred
- ability to recognize valid identifications
- experience in a live music environment preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
- commitment to excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Give proper recognition to Foundation Room Members, Live Nation Corporate Executives and VIPs
- maintain impeccable knowledge regarding steps of service for up-scale dining
- demonstrate expert confidence in bottle and wine service skills
- up-sell and offer food and beverage suggestions to guests
- guide and direct guests through their dining experience
- understand and execute flawlessly the standards and procedures of Bottle Service
- handle cash and Point of Sales system transactions
- deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner
- anticipate and respond to guests needs
- suggestively sell beverages and menu items
- communicate drink orders to the bar
- deliver drinks maneuvering trays through large crowds
- maintain line of sight and atmosphere control
- remove dirty glasses and dishes including lifting bus tubs up to 25 lbs
- keep tables clean and handle spills
- maintain safety and sanitation standards
- request identification from guests who appear under 30
- ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance
- recognize and refuse service to overly intoxicated guests
- process payment and ensure comp and void checks follow policy
- assist other servers and attend pre-shift meetings
