Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol
  • ability to memorize and promote menu items and specials
  • ability to carry and transport trays up to 40 lbs through crowded areas
  • must obtain and maintain all required licenses or certifications
  • prior experience in cocktail service preferred
  • proficient in English
  • skilled in POS operation
  • flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • strong customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cocktail service experience preferred
  • basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation including spirits, beer, wine, and trending liquors
  • proficient in English for menu comprehension, promotions, and guest communication
  • skilled in operating point of sale systems for order entry and payment processing
  • strong guest service skills with ability to work under pressure in high-volume environments
  • must obtain and maintain required licenses or certifications
  • flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explain all specials and promotions
  • take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested
  • input orders into point of sale system and inform bartender an order was made in a timely manner
  • present the guest with the check promptly, thanking them and inviting them to return
  • keep guest tables and floors clean
  • assist with bar area organization and overall cleanliness
  • replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction regularly
  • adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
  • perform other duties as assigned
