Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or other regulatory entities
- Ability to work in an alcohol and smoking environment
- Ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning
- Capability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach
- Ability to use stairs multiple times per day
- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds unassisted
- Ability to work full shifts in full costume without accommodations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Knowledge of Responsible Gaming Program
- RAMP certification
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to withstand physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work in smoke filled environments
- Valid license as required by State Gaming Agency
Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide prompt, accurate and courteous service
- Be well-versed in all concept products and menu items to guide guest experience and sell food and beverage items
- Alert management of any service and/or safety issues
- Make appropriate service recovery gestures to ensure total guest satisfaction
- Control ordering through register and maintain accountability and provide receipts for all beverages served
- Responsible for bank and cash handling procedures and variance policies
- Carry trays of beverage and food offerings throughout the restaurant/bar
- Serve and replenish as requested
- Maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays
- Abide by all federal, state and corporate liquor regulations and intoxicated guest policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Understand and ensure compliance with all PLCB and federal and state gaming regulations
- Abide by company and department appearance standards
