Job Requirements
- one or more years of recent related cocktailing experience preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment
- Colorado Limited Gaming Support License
- age twenty-one or older
- successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training
- completion of alcohol awareness training
- physical ability to perform duties involving walking, climbing stairs, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, stooping and standing for entire shift
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- flexible work availability with additional hours routinely required
Job Qualifications
- demonstrated cocktail server experience preferably within hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment
- strong customer service skills
- experience performing under deadlines or pressure
- problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work
- knowledge of alcohol awareness
- ability to perform mathematical calculations
Job Duties
- maintains a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety procedures and use of safety equipment
- follows safety procedures and identifies unsafe practices or conditions to inform supervisor or Safety Committee
- ensures regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- serves guests with beverages promptly and courteously
- promotes events in gaming, slots, restaurants, and other areas as required
- answers guests' questions regarding casino operations
- develops, maintains, and enhances positive relations with guests and employees
- wears and maintains all uniforms properly including nametag and Gaming License
- performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal policies
- alerts supervisor about concerns regarding beverage quality, selection, and variety
- complies with security policies and informs supervisor of concerns
- maintains alertness and awareness of bar operations and verifies customers are 21+ years of age providing wristbands
- monitors guests for intoxication and discontinues alcohol sales when necessary, informing security and management
- alerts supervisor and security regarding difficult or violent guests
- performs other duties including special projects as directed
