Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bartending or cocktail serving is preferred but not required
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- bartender's license or alcohol service certification may be required depending on local regulations
- food safety certification might be needed
- ability to stand for long periods
- good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- excellent communication skills
- age requirement to legally serve alcohol
- ability to handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Mix and serve cocktails and other beverages according to recipes or customer preferences
- ensure that all drinks are prepared to a high standard and meet quality control guidelines
- greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
- monitor and manage bar inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed
- keep track of alcohol and other beverage stock to prevent wastage and ensure availability
- maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glasses, cleaning countertops, and disposing of waste
- ensure all bar equipment is functioning properly and report any issues for repair
- adhere to all local and state regulations regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages
- check customer identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to underage or intoxicated individuals
- process transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and making change
- maintain a cash register or point-of-sale system and ensure accurate reporting of sales
- work closely with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen personnel, to ensure smooth operation and high service standards
- participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new drink recipes and service techniques
