Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hospitality experience
- Previous cocktail or floor server experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to kneel, bend, and move quickly
- Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work extended, irregular, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work in fast-paced and noisy environments
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- Previous hospitality experience
- Previous cocktail and/or floor server experience
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Certification in alcohol awareness
- Food handling certificate
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
Job Duties
- Anticipate and accommodate all needs of the guests
- Provide professional and exceptional service
- Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions for all beverage and food items
- Inform guests of all food and beverage specials with prices
- Solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest
- Accurately enter all orders into the POS system
- Ensure the delivery of all food and beverage to the guests
- Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue
- Follow supervisor's instructions, communicate with and support co-workers, and be a team player
- Possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the company
- Serve all alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards
- Follow company procedures when providing bottle service
- Follow proper cash/payment card procedures
- Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
- Accurately complete all end-of-shift financial procedures
- Communicate the needs of the guests to front-of-house and heart-of-house support staff, managers, and chefs
- Properly set-up cocktail lounge/bar and side stations, perform side-work and opening/closing procedures as directed by management
- Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings and training sessions
- Portray a positive and professional attitude
- Work effectively as part of a team and provide help and support to all team members
- Assist and/or complete additional tasks as assigned
