Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to count money and change correctly
- Must be able to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
- Must be familiar with cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques
- Ability to work in small areas in a fast paced and often crowded environment
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit
- Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course
Job Qualifications
- General Education Degree (GED) or high school diploma
- One to six months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques
- Ability to work in small areas in a fast paced and often crowded environment
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit
Job Duties
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to Serv Safe guidelines
- Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions
- Promotes casino events and programs
- Provides personalized service and uses guest name
- Resolves service problems according to guidelines
- Prepares drinks utilizing the Smart Bar System and presents drinks to guests in a timely manner
- Provides fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests and beverage servers
- Makes rounds of their assigned section of the Casino floor to serve guests within established service standards
- Prepares and pours drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe, communicates with beverage servers, and presents drinks to guests or servers as required
- Slices and pits fruit as required
- Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures
- Operates a cash register/POS System, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change
- Accounts for all cash, charge and complimentary sales according to established procedure
- Maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
- Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior guest service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
