This position is for a Full-Time Cocktail Server at Angel of the Winds Casino Resort, with a starting wage of $17.15 per hour. The Cocktail Server role is vital in providing outstanding customer service within a fast-paced lounge environment, serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This includes taking and delivering beverage orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions, and ensuring all work areas remain clean, stocked, and sanitary. The ideal candidate will be skilled in multitasking and working independently while maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities also include active participation in mandatory departmental meetings and training sessions, adherence to all health and safety regulations, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Cocktail Servers at Angel of the Winds must follow the mandatory guidelines set by the Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) program and possess the ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses including the Class B gaming license issued by the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State, a Washington State Health Card (Food Worker Card), and the MAST Class 12 Mixologist Permit. The role demands physical endurance to perform repetitive movements, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and the ability to stand for extended periods of time in a bustling environment. Exposure to tobacco smoke is also a regular part of the work environment given the nature of the casino industry. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State
  • must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Health Card (Food Worker Card)
  • must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Class 12 Mixologist Permit
  • ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication skills
  • must pass background checks and licensing verification

Job Qualifications

  • Exceptional guest service skills required
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • six months to a year related work experience and/or training
  • prior experience as a cocktail server preferred
  • prior experience working in a lounge, bar or tavern environment desired
  • must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently
  • ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts

Job Duties

  • Takes guests alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage orders
  • collects money and returns change to guests in an accurate and timely manner
  • serves and refills non-alcoholic beverages to guests
  • communicates menu offerings to guests as applicable
  • provides service of alcohol within the guidelines set forth by the MAST training program
  • operates, balances, and reconciles cash till and Point of Sales (POS) system as trained
  • ensures all work stations are stocked, neat, clean and sanitary
  • attends mandatory department meetings and trainings
  • ability to work full service in high paced lounge environment serving both food and drinks
  • completes all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • obtains and restocks supplies as needed
  • works nights, weekends and holidays as required
  • performs other duties as assigned
