Job Requirements

  • Must represent Vines mission, vision and values
  • At least 21 years of age
  • A minimum of 2-years experience as a cocktail server in a full-service restaurant or bar lounge environment required
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests, managers and team members
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length
  • Ability to perform essential functions to Vines standards with reasonable accommodation

  • Demonstrated ability to guide guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of our food, beverages and ingredients
  • Ability to take accurate orders and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests expectations
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests, managers and team members
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food
  • Takes customer orders by writing them down or memorizing them
  • Presents orders to the cooks on behalf of the patrons
  • Serves customers their pre-ordered food
  • Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed
  • Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to cashier
  • Clears or resets table at the end of each course
  • Thanks patrons and kindly invites them back for future dining
