Job Description

Live Nation Entertainment is the world's leading live entertainment company, renowned for connecting millions of fans with unforgettable live music experiences around the globe. With a portfolio comprising Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship, the company stands at the forefront of the live entertainment industry. Ticketmaster dominates global event ticketing with over 500 million tickets sold annually and has more than 12,000 clients worldwide. Live Nation Concerts operates as the largest provider of live entertainment, promoting over 40,000 shows and over 100 festivals each year for nearly 4,000 artists across more than 40 countries. Complementing these divisions, Live Nation Media & Sponsorship creates strategic music marketing programs that connect over 1,000 brands with the 98 million fans in attendance at Live Nation events each year.

Live Nation's Concerts Division is the heart of the live music experience, where tours originate, artists flourish, and fans dive into the exhilarating atmosphere of live concerts. Whether through their owned and operated amphitheaters, global touring teams, ticketing, venue operations, marketing, or sales, the company fosters a vibrant and dynamic work culture full of energy and opportunity. Employees at Live Nation enjoy perks including complimentary concert tickets, dog-friendly offices, progressive benefits such as student loan reimbursement, and adoption/fertility support. These benefits, combined with a welcoming, inclusive environment, have earned Live Nation certification as a Great Place to Work and recognition as one of People Magazine's "50 Companies that Care." The company is committed to supporting career growth and personal well-being, encouraging everyone to thrive and feel a sense of belonging.

The role within Live Nation Entertainment is that of a Hospitality Server, a key position contributing to delivering exceptional guest experiences at live music events. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about music and hospitality, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and motivated to create memorable moments for guests. Servers are responsible for anticipating and responding to attendees' needs, suggestively selling beverages and menu items, and taking orders efficiently. They act as the face of the company at events, communicating effectively with bar staff using Point of Sales systems, maneuvering through crowds while delivering drinks, and maintaining a positive, attentive atmosphere throughout shifts.

The Hospitality Server's responsibilities extend beyond order taking to include vigilance in maintaining a safe environment, ensuring responsible alcohol service in compliance with local regulations and company policies. This role involves recognizing signs of intoxication tactfully, refusing further service when necessary, and managing payment transactions according to company standards. Servers also assist in maintaining cleanliness and order by clearing tables, cleaning spills, and keeping public spaces inviting and safe for guests. Flexibility and a tolerance for diverse cultures, music genres, and art forms are vital attributes for success in this dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Working conditions involve periods of prolonged standing, working in potentially loud and busy concert settings, and the physical ability to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds using proper techniques. This position often requires working late hours and a flexible schedule to accommodate the live event timings. Live Nation prioritizes creating an inclusive workplace where individuals from various backgrounds, including those with disabilities, are welcomed and supported. The company commits to reasonable accommodations to enable every employee to perform their roles effectively.

Overall, joining Live Nation as a Hospitality Server means becoming part of a passionate community dedicated to live music, customer service excellence, and a culture of inclusion where each individual's contributions are valued and professional development is encouraged. This opportunity offers not just a job but a chance to be involved in the world of live entertainment at an exciting and innovative company.
