Job Requirements

  • Must be of minimum 18 years of age
  • ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • ability to maneuver in a restaurant setting

Job Qualifications

  • One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a bartender preferred
  • good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
  • must be of minimum 18 years of age
  • superior professional appearance and manner
  • good character to work in a fast-paced team
  • ability to communicate satisfactorily in English with guests, management, and co-workers

Job Duties

  • Take food and beverage orders
  • retrieve and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guests according to hotel specifications
  • maintain complete knowledge of menu items, prices, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality standards
  • abide by state liquor regulations including prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated persons
  • understand and anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests
  • maintain positive guest relations
  • handle guest complaints following procedures and ensure guest satisfaction
