Job Requirements
- Must be of minimum 18 years of age
- ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- ability to maneuver in a restaurant setting
Job Qualifications
- One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a bartender preferred
- good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
- experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
- must be of minimum 18 years of age
- superior professional appearance and manner
- good character to work in a fast-paced team
- ability to communicate satisfactorily in English with guests, management, and co-workers
Job Duties
- Take food and beverage orders
- retrieve and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guests according to hotel specifications
- maintain complete knowledge of menu items, prices, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality standards
- abide by state liquor regulations including prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated persons
- understand and anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests
- maintain positive guest relations
- handle guest complaints following procedures and ensure guest satisfaction
