The role of a Cocktail Server at Cafe Sevilla is dynamic and demands a proactive, customer-focused approach. As a server, you will be responsible for executing opening and closing procedures daily to maintain club operations seamlessly. The position requires standing within your designated section upon opening with a thorough knowledge of bottle service prices to maximize sales opportunities. You will engage directly with guests, aiming to sell tables and bottles, provide a superior level of service to VIP guests, and ensure all patrons have an enjoyable and memorable experience. Handling multiple tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, upselling products, and adhering strictly to payment processing and company policies are crucial aspects of this role.

Additionally, the position requires vigilance in maintaining a safe environment, including monitoring for underage drinking and reporting maintenance or security issues promptly to management. A polished and professional appearance combined with a positive attitude and teamwork spirit is essential. The role also involves compliance with all checklists and end-of-shift paperwork, and you must be prepared to assist in implementing process improvements as directed by management. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in serving or bartending in a nightclub or restaurant setting
Ability to stand for extended periods
Excellent communication skills
Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in a high-volume nightclub or restaurant serving role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to upsell and promote additional services
Knowledge of payment processing systems and cash handling procedures
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Job Duties

Use the Club opening and closing checklists on a nightly basis to track completion of opening and closing procedures
At the time of opening, all servers must be standing within their section with a Bottle Service menu
Ensure every guest is having an enjoyable and memorable experience at Cafe Sevilla
All VIP Guests are to be served to Sevilla expectation and the Steps of Service for Cocktail Servers are followed
Interacting with customers by taking their orders, making recommendations, providing them with accurate bills, serving them drinks, processing payments, and supplying them with their requests in a timely manner
Processing all payments in accordance with Cafe Sevilla policies
Encouraging additional sales to guests, upsell drinks/bottles, offer additional bottles with appropriate pricing, promote table service to guests not already seated
Handling multiple tables and tasks in an efficient manner
Maintaining clean and presentable tables and work area
Always keep a positive work attitude and friendly demeanor with the ability to work well with coworkers and as a team
Maintain a polished professional appearance in accordance with the Employee Handbook
Inform management of any additional resources needed
Watch for underage drinking at all times
Immediately report any maintenance, security, and/or safety issues or concerns to a manager
Report harassment by guests to management immediately
Recommend process improvements to a manager and participate in implementing approved process improvements
Properly complete all end of shift paperwork including nightly check out
Perform other work duties as assigned by a manager
