We are currently seeking a Cocktail Server who is friendly, fast, and professional to join our floor team. This role is crucial in maintaining the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for which Mavericks Dancehall is known. As a Cocktail Server, you will be the face of the bar, greeting guests warmly and ensuring that their experience is smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. You'll handle everything from taking accurate drink and food orders, delivering promptly, checking IDs, to managing payments with the POS system. Your ability to communicate effectively with bar and kitchen staff will help maintain seamless service during both regular and high-volume hours.
This position offers both part-time and full-time employment options with compensation starting at $2.13 per hour plus tips, reflecting the standard rate for tipped positions. Job Requirements
- must be 21 or older
- ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- have or be able to obtain TABC Certificate
- have or be able to obtain Food Handlers Certificate
- previous serving experience preferred especially in a bar or fast-paced setting
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
