Job Requirements
- Provide a minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of menu and specials including wine and liquor lists
- Understand accounting procedures
- Familiar with restaurant layout including tables and stations
- Complete restaurant orientation including rules and philosophies
- Meet personal schedule punctually
- Be courteous, pleasant and good natured
- Respond patiently and courteously to difficult guests
- Accept constructive criticism
- Get along with co-workers
- Maintain a clean and well manicured appearance
- Stand and walk for an entire shift
- Safely transport food over slick or uneven surfaces
- Transport food to a party of 4 in a single trip
- Continually transport food and beverage items during shift
- Safely move throughout all restaurant areas
- Work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of menu and specials including wine and liquor lists
- Familiarity with accounting procedures
- Understanding of restaurant layout including table and station numbers
- Completion of individual restaurant orientation including rules and philosophies
Job Duties
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests
- Service a 6 table station effectively
- Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts
- Communicate clearly with kitchen verbally and through register system
- Present and promote current promotional materials to guests
- Accurately account for all guest checks
- Accept payment from guests
- Notify guests of any automatic gratuity
- Perform duties calmly and effectively under pressure
- Communicate with guests courteously and patiently
- Perform varied duties to ensure service meets operating procedures
