Job Requirements

Provide a minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
Knowledge of menu and specials including wine and liquor lists
Understand accounting procedures
Familiar with restaurant layout including tables and stations
Complete restaurant orientation including rules and philosophies
Meet personal schedule punctually
Be courteous, pleasant and good natured
Respond patiently and courteously to difficult guests
Accept constructive criticism
Get along with co-workers
Maintain a clean and well manicured appearance
Stand and walk for an entire shift
Safely transport food over slick or uneven surfaces
Transport food to a party of 4 in a single trip
Continually transport food and beverage items during shift
Safely move throughout all restaurant areas
Work nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
Knowledge of menu and specials including wine and liquor lists
Familiarity with accounting procedures
Understanding of restaurant layout including table and station numbers
Completion of individual restaurant orientation including rules and philosophies

Job Duties

Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests
Service a 6 table station effectively
Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts
Communicate clearly with kitchen verbally and through register system
Present and promote current promotional materials to guests
Accurately account for all guest checks
Accept payment from guests
Notify guests of any automatic gratuity
Perform duties calmly and effectively under pressure
Communicate with guests courteously and patiently
Perform varied duties to ensure service meets operating procedures
