Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Serves and creates a warm, enjoyable atmosphere for guests and is committed to exceeding guest expectations
  • Answers questions regarding food and drink items and their presentation, ingredients and accompanying items
  • Collects payment (credit cards, cash) for drinks and food served following company established accounting procedures for all transactions in a timely manner
  • Hand sells certain items to enhance guest experience
  • Guides guests in selecting food and beverage items
  • Greets newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
  • Rings up orders on the computer
  • Follows R.A.S.P. procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
  • Places accurate orders and attends to guest needs when delivering food and beverage
  • Checks back after delivery of food to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Observes guests to respond to any additional needs
  • Maintains table appearance while observing silent service techniques
  • Attends pre-shift meetings according to schedule
  • Complies with company sanitation procedures
  • Keeps the manager fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objective of this position
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and effectiveness
  • Utilizes company cultural training and available services to ensure that guests experience supersedes expectations
  • At all times provides a favorable image of the company to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all its areas of endeavor
