This part-time or full-time position requires candidates to be 21 years or older and involves serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests across various gaming areas including Table Games and Poker rooms. As a Beverage Server, the individual is expected to contribute positively to guest interactions by providing knowledgeable information about promotions, special events, and drink specials. This includes managing orders accurately, handling cash and point of sale (POS) systems efficiently, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cocktail server station. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • must be able to acquire and maintain a Non-Key Gaming License through POIGRA
  • must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
  • must be flexible with work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must maintain all required educational and certification requirements
  • must have New Mexico State Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification
  • must acquire POIGRA Alcohol Server License
  • must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • capable of working in smoke-filled environments with exposure to various lights and sounds
  • must be on call as needed
  • must be able to handle POS and cash accurately

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • six months beverage server experience in a high-volume casino or hospitality setting preferred
  • three months cash handling experience preferred
  • working knowledge of OSHA and alcohol awareness programs
  • excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • ability to operate POS systems
  • strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • ability to perform basic mathematics
  • positive attitude toward guests
  • ability to defuse hostile situations with tact

Job Duties

  • Maintains and ensures the cocktail server station is clean and orderly
