Job Requirements

21 years of age or above
Required to obtain and maintain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission
Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, including but not limited to alcohol awareness cards
ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries from employees or guests
Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Ability to lift or maneuver at least 50 pounds
Ability to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
Must be able to interact professionally with guests
Must be able to handle high-pressure situations effectively

Job Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent preferred
Minimum 1 years of cocktail server experience preferred
Must possess outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals and maintenance instructions
Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests
Fluency in English required, second language a plus
Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations

Job Duties

Follow all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standards
Follow all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls
Deliver and maintain a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction
Keep informed of all new developments within the department
Balance multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations
Take guest orders in assigned areas
Coordinate with bar team members to make and serve guests in a timely manner
Adhere to department professional appearance standards at all times
Work with safety as a priority, and follow department and company safety standards
Maintain relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
