The Cocktail Server role at Seattle Beer Union is a vital position responsible for enhancing the customer dining experience with prompt and courteous service. This role requires the individual to efficiently take food and beverage orders, accurately enter these orders in the correct sequence, and ensure timely delivery of quality food and beverages to guests. The Cocktail Server plays a key role in maintaining the flow of service by coordinating seamlessly with the kitchen and bar to ensure the orders are prepared and delivered as requested. Additionally, this position demands attention to detail in table maintenance, from pre-bussing to monitoring drink levels and ensuring a clutter-free environment.
Working as a Cocktail Server at Seattle Beer Union means working in a fast-paced airport setting, requiring flexibility, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage customers in a friendly and outgoing manner. The position is non-exempt and reports to management personnel such as the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or General Manager. Due to the nature of the airport and travel venue, this role requires adherence to strict policies related to alcohol service, cash handling, and customer service standards. The Cocktail Server must also be physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. The position typically requires at least six months of related serving experience, preferably in high-volume or fast-casual restaurant settings, to ensure familiarity with rapid service demands.
