Job Description
Maggiano's Little Italy, a chain of restaurants with a family-like atmosphere, known for its authentic Italian cuisine and high-energy dining experience, is seeking Cocktail Servers to join their team. The restaurant reflects the history of its host city with pre-war Little Italy aesthetics and a commitment to exceptional customer service and delicious food offerings.
Job Requirements
- Must provide a minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or the equivalent
- Menu and specials
- Wine list
- Liquor list and special drinks
- Accounting procedures
- Layout of restaurant including table numbers and station numbers
- Individual restaurant orientation material including rules and philosophies
- Meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Be courteous, pleasant, and good-natured
- Respond to the needs of difficult guests with patience and courtesy
- Accept constructive criticism
- Get along with co-workers
- Provide a clean, well-manicured persona that reflects the established image of the restaurant
- Stand and walk for an entire shift
- Safely transport food from the kitchen to guest table over slick, uneven surface
- Transport food to service a party of 4 in a single trip
- Transport food and beverage items from source to any guest table continually throughout a shift
- Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Applicants should have prior experience in a full-service restaurant.
