Job Requirements

  • Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to efficiently and safely stand and move about the entire facility during each shift
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift
  • Ability to provide outstanding professional service with a fun and energetic personality
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Must be at least the legal age for serving alcohol
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and patiently with guests and staff
  • Must comply with all safety and service guidelines
  • Accurate cash handling skills

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of serving in a fast paced food and beverage venue
  • Preferably nightclub environment experience
  • Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments
  • Must meet state legal age requirements
  • Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
  • Courteous, pleasant, and good natured
  • Strong communication skills
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
  • Basic math skills
  • Reading and writing abilities
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner
  • Serve cocktails and/or menu items to bar guests
  • Upsell when taking orders
  • Provide outstanding and professional service with a smile
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with co-workers and kitchen staff
  • Ensure guests meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
  • Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption
  • Complete all side work assigned
  • Accurately account for all sales and payments
  • Alert management of any service or safety issues
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication
  • Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen for ordering and receipt of food and beverages
