Job Requirements
- Availability to work first shift including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to tolerate heat, cold refrigeration, and the use of cleaning chemicals
- Must be contagious friendly, warm and energetic
- Full-time availability
- No prior experience required
- Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic food preparation skills
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop culinary techniques
- Ability to work in a physically demanding kitchen environment
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is an asset but not required
Job Duties
- Prepare large quantities of food according to executive chef recipes
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, toasters, microwaves, ovens, and steam kettles safely
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Assist in keeping the kitchen clean and organized
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Support the kitchen team and contribute to efficient service
