Job Description

Cobra Tucson is a dynamic arcade bar located in Tucson, known for its vibrant atmosphere combining classic arcade games, innovative bar service, and engaging event nights. This establishment thrives on creating a unique entertainment environment where guests can enjoy a nostalgic gaming experience alongside quality beverages and lively social interactions. The venue attracts a diverse crowd, ranging from gaming enthusiasts to casual visitors looking for a fun night out. Cobra Tucson’s commitment to excellent service and a welcoming ambiance makes it a standout spot in the local entertainment and hospitality scene.

While the company is not actively hiring at the moment, it maintains a standing invitation for motivated, sharp individuals eager to be part of its team. The team at Cobra Tucson includes a variety of roles such as bartenders, barbacks, door hosts, and support staff, each playing a crucial role in delivering seamless and enjoyable guest experiences. Employees at Cobra Tucson work in a fast-paced environment characterized by energetic music, flashing lights, and a bustling arcade floor. This environment demands staff who are adaptable, attentive, and capable of maintaining composure amid the excitement and activity.

The current call is for individuals interested in joining a team that values excellent customer service, teamwork, and a genuine passion for gaming culture. Positions are typically part-time and require availability during evenings and weekends to align with peak operating hours and special event nights. Compensation is competitive, factoring in hourly pay plus tips during bar and event shifts, alongside employee discounts and other perks that enhance the overall job experience.

The role centers on providing excellent guest interaction through friendly and attentive service tailored to the arcade bar’s unique atmosphere. Responsibilities include managing point-of-sale transactions for game credits, food, and beverage sales, and cover charges, ensuring accuracy during busy periods. Staff are also responsible for monitoring arcade machines to ensure proper functioning, reporting any maintenance issues promptly, and assisting with simple troubleshooting and restarts when necessary.

Supporting events and DJ sets is another key aspect of the role, involving managing lines, enforcing age and venue policies (21+), and assisting with crowd flow management to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas, games, and bar surfaces is vital to uphold safety standards and the venue’s welcoming vibe. Staff are also involved in light stocking duties, basic food and beverage preparation, and inventory rotation to support smooth day-to-day operations.

Teamwork and collaboration with other staff members and management are emphasized to successfully execute promotions, special events, and cross-venue initiatives with partner locations such as Night Owl. The role offers ample opportunities for on-the-job training, cross-training in various functions, and potential advancement into supervisory positions within the company. This makes it an ideal position for individuals looking to grow their hospitality and entertainment careers in a fun, team-oriented setting.
