Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution
- At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
- Must be able to work on a full-time basis for 3 alternating semesters spring 2026, fall 2026, and summer 2027
- Student cannot actively take any courses including online or in-person and work as a co-op/intern simultaneously which may delay graduation by 1-2 semesters
- Must be able to work onsite in the Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the co-op
- Working as a co-op/intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity at Delta Air Lines upon graduation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Project management and personal management skills
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications

- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale

- Ability to prioritize safety and security consistently
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- At least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States
- Preferred degree specialization in Aviation
- Valid passport with ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Flight experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Project, Visio, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Highly motivated with a desire to learn and passion for safety
Job Duties
- Support the Flight Safety Accident/Incident Investigation Team
- Assist flight operational quality assurance (FOQA)
- Contribute to the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP)
- Collect and analyze data related to aviation accidents and incidents
- Collaborate with cross-divisional partners in Corporate Safety and Flight Operations
- Assist the Safety Assurance Team (SAT) in data analysis to track and resolve safety hazards
- Develop and deliver safety promotion materials including articles and presentations
