Job Requirements
- Current Florida CNA license or Certified HHA certificate from a Florida-approved training program
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- CPR certification
- Social Security card
- Health statement dated within the last 6 months indicating freedom from communicable diseases
- Completion of Level 2 background screening
- Availability for day shift work
- Willingness to work in private residences
Job Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA license or Certified HHA certificate from a Florida-approved training program
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- CPR certification
- Ability to pass Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and AHCA Clearinghouse
- Completion of required continuing education units including Alzheimer’s, HIV/AIDS, and medication assistance courses
- Required dementia training through Elder Affairs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Providing personal care assistance to clients in their homes
- Assisting with activities of daily living including hygiene and mobility support
- Administering medication reminders as per client care plan
- Offering companionship and emotional support to clients
- Reporting client conditions and incidents to supervisory staff
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Participating in ongoing training and compliance requirements
