It boasts premier dining venues and refined meeting rooms ideally situated near Richmond’s cultural, historic, and business districts, which makes it a popular destination for both leisure and business travelers. The Richmond Marriott stands out as a flagship property within the hospitality sector, providing exemplary service and an inspiring setting where professionals can thrive and guests can experience memorable stays.
The role of Director of Finance at the Richmond Marriott is vital to the hotel's continued operational and financial success. This position offers a competitive compensation package starting at $100,000 up to $145,000 annually, plus bonuses, making it an attractive opportunity for finance professionals who want to advance their careers in the hospitality industry. As the Director of Finance, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting office, including managing accounts payable and cash functions. You will be responsible for tracking, evaluating, and interpreting financial data to provide actionable recommendations that maximize profitability while ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI).
Serving as a crucial partner to the hotel’s leadership team, this role demands a strategic mindset geared towards maintaining a robust control environment that safeguards assets, enhances operational efficiency, and effectively manages risk. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of hotel accounting processes and how they intersect with daily operations, along with a collaborative and consultative approach. This role allows you to contribute directly to the financial integrity and business performance of a distinguished, award-winning hotel brand operated by White Lodging, a leader in premium hospitality management.
