Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must be personable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must maintain excellent attendance
- Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit as required by state or federal laws
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to handle cash responsibly
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow all company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS cash/credit transactions and inventory
- Possess valid SNHD food handling card and Alcohol Awareness or equivalent
Job Duties
- Assist setup of food service areas within specific suites and club areas based upon pre-order
- Ensure all assigned suites are set prior to event based upon communication received of orders
- Organize and prepare events in assigned locations
- Assist in closing out financials per event and ensure correct billing
- Monitor and maintain food quality
- Follow company policies, safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures
- Manage inventory control and product requisition fulfilling
- Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments
- Supervise service of beverages including alcohol and check IDs
- Respond to guest requests promptly
- Ensure suites have necessary serving ware
- Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- Maintain excellent attendance
- Ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to event
- Identify and take action on visibly intoxicated guests
- Perform other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
