Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
- must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcohol
- possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- excellent attendance record
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
Job Qualifications
- ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests clearly and respectfully
- ability to speak, read and write in English
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
- possess valid SNHD food handling card and Alcohol Awareness or equivalent
Job Duties
- assist setup of food service areas within specific suites and club areas based upon pre-order
- ensure all assigned suites are set prior to event based upon communication received of orders
- organize and prepare events in assigned locations
- assist in closing out financials per event and ensure correct billing takes place
- monitor and maintain food quality
- follow all company policies and procedures, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and ensure a positive atmosphere for team members and guests
- monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures
- monitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition fulfilling
- have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments
- supervise the service of beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages and verify guest's ID to comply with minimum age requirements
- observe guests to respond to any additional requests
- ensure suites have all necessary serving ware
- maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- demonstrate excellent attendance
- assure that location equipment is operable and clean prior to event start
- recognize and take appropriate action regarding guests visibly intoxicated
- perform all other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
