This role involves working in a club lounge setting, where hospitality and guest satisfaction are paramount. As a key member of the lounge team, the individual will monitor seating availability and service quality to ensure guest comfort and safety. The position requires a proactive approach in maintaining cleanliness and the condition of bar areas and related tools. Responsibilities extend to preparing and serving a variety of beverages, from hot and cold drinks to alcoholic options, highlighting the importance of attention to detail and knowledge of beverage service standards.

Stock management is critical in this position. The role includes tracking supplies such as ice and glassware, anticipating replenishment needs, and communicating these effectively to maintain seamless operations. Operational duties also encompass washing dishes and utensils as needed and fulfilling opening and closing procedures to uphold the highest standards of the service environment. The employee will be responsible for requisitioning supplies and securing all liquor and storage areas to comply with safety and regulatory standards.

In addition to operational tasks, the role demands excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues. This includes welcoming guests, responding to service requests, assisting individuals with disabilities, and maintaining professionalism in all verbal and written communications. The individual must document pertinent information meticulously in the department logbook and report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management promptly.

Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds and sustaining activity such as standing or walking for extended periods. The role is well suited for individuals who possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
