Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food following recipes and approved production standards
- ensure all deadlines meet production orders
- supervise food service associates hourly including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, participation in reviews and recommending disciplinary actions
- store food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- ensure appropriate handling, presentation and portion control of food and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- maintain cleanliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
- thoroughly clean work station before leaving area
- keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to comply with hygiene, safety, production and marketing requirements
- interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- communicate relevant information directly to supervisor
- demonstrate a full understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain to employees and customers
- stay current with peak production and service times
- supervise inventory and deliveries of products and supplies
- track production, consumption and waste of product
- report to supervisor when supplies or products run low
- perform other assigned duties
