The role available is a Full-Time, Non-Management position in the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category located onsite at Marriott Marquis Chicago. The hourly pay range for this role is between $26.87 and $27.62, offering competitive compensation within the hospitality sector. The primary responsibility of this position is to monitor the club lounge environment to ensure seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and overall wellbeing. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in the bar and lounge areas, preparing and serving a variety of beverages including hot, cold, and alcoholic drinks, and managing bar inventory by stocking ice, glassware, and necessary supplies. The associate anticipates replenishment needs proactively and also handles dishwashing and utensil cleaning tasks to maintain a smooth operation.

Additional responsibilities include completing opening and closing procedures of the lounge, requisitioning and transporting supplies from storage areas, and ensuring secure storage of alcoholic beverages and other inventory. This position requires documenting pertinent information in department logbooks, forecasting meal demands, and communicating special requirements to kitchen staff to maintain service excellence. Safety reporting, adherence to company policies, professional appearance, and confidentiality of proprietary information are fundamental aspects of the role. The associate is expected to welcome guests warmly, recognize their service needs with attentiveness, and contribute positively to the team environment. Communication skills are critical for effectively interacting with guests, colleagues, and management, while physical capabilities such as moving objects up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods are necessary to fulfill the job duties.
