Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred but not necessary
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 25 lbs
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Ability to reach, handle, feel, talk, hear, and see
- Willingness to work in a drug-free workplace and consent to pre-employment substance abuse testing
Job Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year cleaning experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
Job Duties
- Clean rooms/suites, as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows/tracks
- Report rooms as clean and available
- Report maintenance deficiencies to maintain compliance with hotel standards
- Strip dirty linens and towels and remove used amenities
- Maintain housekeeping cart stocked
- Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement
- Replenish linen and guest amenities
- Clean balconies if applicable
- Respond to special guest requests such as providing extra amenities or service time requests
- Provide customer service including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions
- Assist co-workers as requested
