Job Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all public and private areas within the facility including offices, waiting areas, restrooms, and donor procedure rooms
- Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and techniques to ensure the elimination of pathogens
- Regularly clean and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages to the supervisor
- Adhere to all established health and safety regulations, organizational policies, and procedures related to infection control and terminal cleaning protocols
- Properly dispose of waste including biohazardous materials in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Assist in tracking and managing cleaning supplies inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for effective cleaning operations
- Report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning activities to the Facilities Manager to ensure prompt resolution
- Work closely with other team members and departments to support overall operational needs and maintain a professional environment
