Job Requirements

  • Nursing diploma or associate degree
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience
  • Ability to work nights with 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Preferred pediatric experience
  • Preferred CPI training

Job Qualifications

  • Nursing diploma or associate degree
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience
  • Preferred experience in pediatrics
  • CPI trained preferred
  • Ability to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Provide education on escalation prevention
  • Review and update behavioral plans
  • Establish relationships with patients and families
  • Respond to CPI events
  • Promote patient and family-centered care
  • Develop and document individualized plans of care
  • Participate in patient safety and quality improvement activities
