USPI South Plains Endoscopy Center is a well-established outpatient surgical facility specializing in gastrointestinal procedures. The center is equipped with one operating room and three treatment rooms, providing high-quality ambulatory surgical care. Job Requirements

  • Graduate of a professional school of nursing
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Current uninhibited Texas RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum three years of operating room or critical care experience
  • Minimum three years of RN management experience
  • Excellent command of English language, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others
  • Knowledge of State and CMS regulations for accreditation of outpatient surgery or hospital
  • Ability to work flexible hours including some early mornings and late evenings
  • Attendance at all mandatory in-services and meetings
  • Strong organizational and program development skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of a professional school of nursing
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Current uninhibited Texas RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum three years of operating room or critical care experience
  • Minimum three years of RN management experience, outpatient surgery experience a plus
  • Excellent command of English language, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians, employees, and patients
  • Knowledge and skills equivalent to those of a staff nurse
  • Familiarity with State and CMS regulations for outpatient surgery accreditation

Job Duties

  • Oversee and develop clinical departments through hiring, evaluating, mentoring, scheduling, and supervision
  • Implement staff development programs and quality assurance initiatives
  • Monitor budgets for clinical service programs and manage financial performance
  • Collaborate with management team to communicate effectively and align strategies
  • Develop and plan strategies for program growth and business sustainability
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS standards, and other regulatory requirements
  • Attend mandatory in-services, meetings, and annual safety and competency education sessions
  • Act in accordance with the Center’s vision, mission, and business goals
