Job Duties
- Greet individuals entering the premises
- provide directions, answer questions, and meet a variety of customer service needs
- perform receptionist duties including signing patients in, collecting co-pays, taking new referral information, faxing information, handling phone calls, computer operations, and email etiquette
- schedule patients for clinics and make reminder calls
- receive referrals from various sources and complete appropriate paperwork
- communicate and provide information internally and externally to assist organizational operations and effective service
- manage clinician scheduling to ensure optimal productivity standards
- manage point-of-service collections such as co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles, and self-pay
- proactively identify ways to improve job function and collaborate with supervisors and team members to implement improvements
