Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant education program or Vocational Nurse program
  • Six months of clinical healthcare facility experience or completion of a Texas Health Resources MA externship
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Texas
  • Ability to float between multiple urgent care locations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program or Vocational Nurse program
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the State of Texas
  • Six months of clinical experience in a healthcare facility as LVN, MA, CNA, or equivalent patient care role
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Experience with electronic health record systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service as a clinical concierge guiding patients and visitors through their urgent care experience
  • Assist with clinical functions including front and back-office duties
  • Work closely with providers and other clinical team members
  • Float across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
  • Support patient flow and care coordination throughout the urgent care visit
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
