Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant education program or Vocational Nurse program
- Six months of clinical healthcare facility experience or completion of a Texas Health Resources MA externship
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Texas
- Ability to float between multiple urgent care locations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program or Vocational Nurse program
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the State of Texas
- Six months of clinical experience in a healthcare facility as LVN, MA, CNA, or equivalent patient care role
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Experience with electronic health record systems preferred
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service as a clinical concierge guiding patients and visitors through their urgent care experience
- Assist with clinical functions including front and back-office duties
- Work closely with providers and other clinical team members
- Float across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
- Support patient flow and care coordination throughout the urgent care visit
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
