Job Requirements

  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Current BLS Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Minimum one year experience in a medical setting preferred
  • Exceptions for externship or residency program with active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire
  • Idaho State requirements include CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
  • WA state MA-C or MA-R license required and endorsed by Indigo within 30 days
  • Ability to work 3 x 12-hour day shifts
  • Willingness to work weekends
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice

Job Qualifications

  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license
  • Current BLS Certification or ability to obtain through in-house training
  • Minimum one year experience in physician's office or medical facility preferred
  • Certification in X-Ray technology preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
  • Perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
  • Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
  • Support the unit through excellent patient customer service and clinic management assistance
