The role of Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant at Indigo Urgent Care offers a fantastic opportunity for healthcare professionals seeking to expand their clinical skills while working in a supportive and innovative environment. This position is a 0.9 full-time equivalent with a day shift schedule, operating 3 by 12-hour shifts from 8 am to 8 pm. As a Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant, you will be involved in frontline patient care in collaboration with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff, and clinic management. Job Requirements

  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Interim Certification acceptable for up to one year or until MA-C is issued
  • Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through in-house training depending on assignment
  • Minimum one year experience in physician's office or medical facility preferred
  • Exceptions for externship or residency program applicants with active/pending WA DOH MA-R certification
  • Idaho State CMA certification by AAMA, NHA, or NCCT
  • WA state MA-C license, or WA state MA-R license required and endorsed by employer within first 30 days
  • Ability to work 3 x 12-hour day shifts

  • Washington State Medical Assistant Interim Certification acceptable for up to one year from issue date or until MA-C is issued
  • Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program
  • Minimum one year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
  • Exceptions made for applicants in externship or residency program with active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification
  • Idaho State CMA certification by AAMA, NHA, or NCCT
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including day shift 8am-8pm
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
  • Perform a variety of clinical functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
  • Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
  • Support clinic management assistance and excellent patient customer service
