Job Description
Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a vibrant and growing healthcare establishment dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible urgent care services across the North Texas region. Designed with the needs of the community in mind, Texas Health Breeze offers convenient and comprehensive treatment for a wide variety of minor injuries and illnesses, from allergies and earaches to sprains and strains. With locations open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, and a commitment to minimizing wait times, the urgent care centers aim to deliver quick and efficient care, often allowing patients to leave with medications in hand. Backed by Texas Health, one of the largest and most respected health systems in the region, Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is expanding rapidly with plans to open 20 locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth area by the summer of 2021. The organization has earned numerous recognitions, including Best Urgent Care awards across multiple locations, highlighting its dedication to patient care excellence.
The Clinical Concierge Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) position at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care is a full-time role based out of the Plano, Texas facility, with the flexibility to float across several urgent care sites within the Texas Health system. This role is essential in enhancing the patient experience by guiding patients and their secondary guests through urgent care visits with a focus on clinical excellence and streamlined service. Working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, often rotating through days, weekends, and holidays, the Clinical Concierge LMRT plays a multifunctional clinical role that includes performing diagnostic x-rays, assisting providers with patient care and procedures, conducting laboratory testing, and facilitating patient flow through registration, rooming, and discharge processes using the EPIC electronic health record system.
This role demands a dynamic individual capable of working effectively in a fast-paced urgent care environment while demonstrating keen clinical skills such as x-ray imaging of the chest, extremities, skull, and spine, as well as collecting vital signs and medical histories, administering medications, and assisting with minor medical procedures. The position is vital not only for ensuring patient safety and high-quality care but also for fostering trust and comfort for patients during their visit. As part of a supportive team environment, the Clinical Concierge LMRT collaborates closely with the site manager, healthcare providers, and clinical staff to uphold the highest standards of care and patient satisfaction. Employees in this role will benefit from specialized training, including Commission on Ambulatory and Urgent Care Quality (CAUCQ) accredited clinical education, career growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401k, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and paid parental leave.
