This is a full-time position requiring three 12-hour shifts per week, including varied hours from early morning until evening, and the role floats across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations, specifically based out of the Melissa, TX location. The Clinical Concierge LMRT acts as a frontline clinical professional guiding patients and their guests through the entire urgent care visit to ensure a smooth, efficient, and compassionate experience.
Responsibilities encompass a broad and dynamic range of clinical and administrative duties. These include assisting providers during patient care, performing diagnostic x-rays within the licensed scope, conducting laboratory testing, and documenting vital clinical information such as patient histories, allergies, and current medications in the electronic medical records system (EPIC). The role also involves patient registration, collecting payments, rooming, and discharge procedures, emphasizing patient flow optimization and support for provider functions. The Clinical Concierge LMRT supports urgent care procedures such as sterile field maintenance, laceration repair assistance, orthopedic goods application, and emergency interventions including BLS and oxygen administration when necessary.
Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care provides a supportive, team-oriented environment that values professional development and continuous learning. Employees in this role will benefit from the Commission on Ambulatory and Urgent Care Quality Specialty Training Commendation, which ensures a high standard of clinical training specific to urgent care and patient experience.
