Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training
- minimum one year of athletic training experience
- certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) through BOC
- Arkansas state licensure or ability to obtain before start date
- teaching certification in secondary education or eligibility to obtain
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- ability to perform both clinical and administrative duties effectively
- legal authority to work in the United States
- pre-employment screening including criminal background check
- submission of required application documents such as license or certificate and resume
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training
- certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through Board of Certification
- Arkansas state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- teaching certification in secondary education or eligibility to obtain one
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- experience with casting/splinting preferred
- Master's degree in Athletic Training preferred
- TAGME certification preferred
- strong clinical background in athletic training
- proficiency in evaluating and managing sports-related injuries
- excellent organizational and administrative skills
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- familiarity with ACGME accreditation standards preferred
Job Duties
- Provide appropriate care for athletes and patients including injury evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care
- educate and advocate for patients, communicating with families and healthcare providers
- perform administrative duties such as maintaining patient documentation in electronic health record systems, scheduling, and insurance authorizations
- assist with clinic organization, supply ordering, and inventory management
- support day-to-day operations and compliance requirements of the Sports Medicine Fellowship program
- manage and maintain data using New Innovations, ACGME WebADS, and other software tools
- coordinate schedules, organize meetings and events, and assist in recruitment efforts for residents and faculty
