Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in medical billing or administrative support in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
- Familiarity with insurance claim submission and billing processes
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with medical billing and coding preferred
- Knowledge of electronic health records and billing software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
- Proficient in office procedures and records management
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Job Duties
- Provide front-line client support via phone and in-person, including inquiries and referrals to internal and community services
- Manage and monitor daily appointment schedules to ensure availability and operational efficiency
- Maintain confidentiality and communicate appropriate information in compliance with HIPAA
- Oversee full client visit process: scheduling, insurance verification, documentation, billing, payment collection, and record updates
- Assist with insurance billing processes, ensuring accurate ICD-10 coding and timely reimbursements
- Log medications and record payments per procedural and financial standards
- Audit billing reports, resolve denied claims, submit appeals, and make account adjustments to maximize reimbursements
