As a Clinic Receptionist at Integrative Medicine Associates, you will serve as the welcoming heart of our clinic, setting the tone for patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your interaction will cover everything from patient check-in, verification of health insurance details, collection of co-pays and deductibles, to accurate record-keeping within electronic medical systems. Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED upon hire
  • Ability to handle patient check-in and administrative duties
  • Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive patient information confidentially

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED
  • One year of healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform patient check-in at the time of visit and complete all necessary paperwork to ensure efficient admitting process and regulatory compliance
  • Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
  • Schedule appointments according to office guidelines
  • Obtain accurate patient and insurance information and collect copays and deductible amounts
  • Copy and scan patient access related hardcopy materials into the correct location in electronic medical records
  • Prepare charts for patient appointments ensuring all necessary information is complete
