Job Description

Operating more than 50 clinics across the Greater Houston and Gulf Coast region, Legacy Community Health has continuously expanded and invested in its communities by innovating how care is delivered. This commitment has allowed the organization to stay at the forefront of connecting communities to health—every day, in every way. As a trusted healthcare provider, Legacy Community Health emphasizes a culture where success is powered by its people. The organization seeks passionate, talented individuals who aspire to have a meaningful career with a lasting impact on community health. At Legacy, the mission—Driving healthy change in our communities—guides each team member's daily efforts, emphasizing core attributes such as approachability, collaboration, commitment, and emotional intelligence.

The Clinic Operations Director II position at Legacy Community Health, based at the Legacy Baker Ripley Clinic in Houston, TX, offers an exceptional opportunity to lead and innovate within a vital healthcare setting. As a key leader, the Director will spearhead operational excellence, service delivery, and financial success across multiple practice sites. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams to implement forward-thinking policies and initiatives that reshape healthcare operations within the community. A significant part of the role includes leading hiring efforts for managers and coordinators, fostering a supportive and agile team environment, and overseeing complex disciplinary processes in conjunction with human resources. The Director will also champion the success of physicians and mid-level providers by building a collaborative practice ecosystem. Monthly operational and financial performance reviews with senior leadership, including the Vice President and medical leadership, are integral to the role, as is the responsibility for annual budget development and revenue cycle innovations. This position requires regular communication with senior operations leaders and collaboration with marketing to devise innovative regional strategies.

This full-time, Monday to Friday role is designed for an individual with a strong background in healthcare operations and leadership, particularly someone who is passionate about making a meaningful impact. Aside from operational leadership, the Director will analyze technical data and financial reports to guide strategic decision-making and participate in continuous operational leadership meetings to ensure forward-thinking solutions are implemented effectively. Legacy Community Health provides a supportive environment that values diverse perspectives and encourages continuous professional growth. For individuals motivated by excellence and innovation, this role provides an avenue to contribute significantly to Legacy Community Health's mission and growth, while championing the health and well-being of local communities.
