Job Description

Fresenius Kidney Care is a leading provider of dialysis services dedicated to improving the lives of patients with kidney disease. As part of Fresenius Medical Care, the world’s largest provider of dialysis products and services, Fresenius Kidney Care operates outpatient clinics and hospital-based facilities that deliver comprehensive care to individuals suffering from chronic kidney conditions. The company emphasizes a patient-centered approach, providing innovative treatment options supported by advanced technology and a compassionate team of healthcare professionals. With locations across the United States, Fresenius Kidney Care offers employment opportunities that include supportive work environments focused on teamwork and continuous learning. This particular employment opportunity is for a full-time secretary/receptionist position within an outpatient or hospital facility setting, offering a meaningful role within a clinical environment focused on patient care. The compensation details are aligned with industry standards and commensurate with experience.

As a secretary/receptionist at Fresenius Kidney Care, you will be the vital first point of contact for patients and visitors, serving as the face of the clinic. This role requires a highly organized and professional individual who can manage a broad scope of administrative duties that are essential for smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences. Your responsibilities will include managing patient engagement and front desk duties such as answering phones, greeting patients, and maintaining a professional reception area. Beyond daily clerical tasks, you will also contribute to administrative functions like maintaining filing systems, assisting with accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring compliance with medical records standards.

The position demands strong communication skills, adaptability to multiple software applications including Microsoft Office, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment. Since you will be working closely with clinical staff and a diverse patient population, a customer service-oriented attitude and a commitment to protecting patient confidentiality are paramount. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a cross-functional team dedicated to delivering high quality care and support to patients living with kidney disease. Employees at Fresenius Kidney Care benefit from a collaborative culture that values professional growth through training and education sessions. This job is suited for individuals seeking to build a career in healthcare administration within a caring and mission-driven organization.
